Las Vegas is a top holiday destination because of the countless ways to enjoy the season, on and off The Strip.
Here is a taste of what you can do for the Holidays in 2023.
The Strip
On The Strip, gorgeous seasonal décor adorns the casinos. One of the highlights is Bellagio's Conservatory. Renowned for its stunning exhibits, the Conservatory comprises living plants and flowers. After wandering through its nutcracker-inspired display, you're only steps away from the
dancing Bellagio Fountains choreographed to your favorite holiday favorites.
Christmas movies, fire pits, smores, and warm beverages enhance the atmosphere at the Cosmopolitan's rooftop Ice Rink. The 4,200-square-foot ice rink showcases stunning views of the Strip while a
light snowfall drifts down to make the season white. Aria's Holiday Display features an impressive, creative Christmas collection. Each year, the resort changes the theme of this must-see spectacular exhibit.
The Park, outside T-Mobile Arena, features carolers, pop-up dining experiences, Santa, and live entertainment every weekend throughout the season. An 80-foot silver Fir tree overlooks skaters on its ice rink.
The Flamingo and Linq shared Promenade display sparkling trees, glittering lights, and holiday specials. A giant snow globe takes center stage at the Flamingo's Wildlife Habitat, along with bright pink décor throughout the casino. Soaring 55 stories above the promenade, the High Roller dazzles with a holiday light show illuminating Christmas-colored lights.
In addition to many unique shopping centers, the holidays bring Cowboy Christmas to the Las Vegas Convention Center. The 37-year Vegas tradition returns with 500,000 square feet of exhibitors featuring unique, one-of-a-kind gifts.
Downtown
Downtown, the Great Santa Run supports Opportunity Village through a festive 5k or 1-mile race through downtown. Join Co-Grand Marshalls the Jabbawockeez and Blue Man Group as they lead the annual run by Vegas landmarks. On Friday, December 1st, start your holiday party season off with the Jingle Bell Ball, a Holiday Soiree at Circa's Legacy Club Rooftop.
Off Strip
Ethel M's Holiday Cactus Garden features over 300 cacti plants and succulents, all adorned in colored lights. Bright natural displays and other holiday décor cover the entire grounds. My favorite part is Ethel M's decadent hot chocolate with extra whip.
North of town, Glittering Lights is a popular holiday tradition that supports Speedway Children's Charities. The 2.5-mile course dazzles with numerous lighted displays. You can either drive the course or take the Santa Tram.
In its 31st year, Opportunity Village's favored Magical Forest inspires the imagination with millions of sparkling lights, rides, festive food, and holiday cheer. The Winter Wonderful funds programs and services for people with disabilities.
Silverton Casino Aquarium on Blue Diamond takes a different approach to the season with a story time with the Mermaids. Santa's there to hear your wish list, but the underwater event is a holiday must-see.
Holiday Performances at the Smith Center feature a variety of musical holiday shows, including Lindsay Sterling, Jane Lynch, Kate Flannery, and Tower of Power. The Nevada Ballet Theater once again, presents The Nutcracker, and the Las Vegas Philharmonic presents holiday classics in A Very Vegas Christmas.
Transport to the gates of Halloween Town for AREA 15's immersive experience, The Nightmare Before Christmas.
