Parks

The 170-acre Craig Ranch Regional Park is located at 628 W. Craig Road. It features a 65,000-square-foot skate park, three dog parks, two lighted baseball fields, six tennis courts, four volleyball and two basketball courts, community gardens, eight reservable ramadas and expansive open space.
Centered on Tule Springs, Floyd Lamb Park covers 2,040 acres. Located approximately 20 miles from the Strip off US Highway 95, just north of Ann Road, the desert oasis is home to peacocks, ducks, and geese. It has four public ponds for fishing, picnic areas, barbecues, walking paths, volleyball courts and horseshoe pits.
Majestic Park, 9902 W. Gowan Road, offers a range of recreational amenities, including softball fields, picnic areas, playgrounds, and open space. Majestic Park Softball Complex, located on the southeast corner of Alexander Road and Hualapai Way, is a sports and recreational facility with 2.1 million square feet of outdoor recreation space. It has twelve softball fields with dugouts, bullpens and sun-shaded bleachers.
Cliff Shadows Open Desert Park is perfect for enjoying the outdoors and Mother Nature. The park boasts views of the Las Vegas Strip and is home to various wildlife, including coyotes, hawks and rabbits. There are over six miles of trails with varying terrain levels for the adventurous to explore. You can bring your leashed canine friend along a dedicated trail. The park is wheelchair accessible, making it inclusive for everyone. It has restrooms, water stations, benches and playground equipment. The recommended time to explore is October through May.
Buckskin Basin Park, 7350 Buckskin Avenue, features soccer fields and expansive open space. It also has reservable picnic areas, a playground, a walking path and BBQ grills.
The new 7.3-acre Trigono Hills Park, 3805 Cliff Shadows Parkway, is a triangular-shaped park with an interpretive garden, a natural grass play area, a shaded kinetic play zone and playground, a picnic area and lighted walking paths.

Several trails circle the vista. Its Troove Trail is a family-friendly 4-mile loop completely circling the base of the mountain. It is used by hikers, runners, mountain bikers and dog walkers. The summit itself is a 1.5-mile slope with a 900-foot altitude gain. The trail is rocky and narrow in places, so it's not for beginners.
Cottonwood Canyon Park Trail, 915 Canyon Bluff Ct., is a paved urban trail in Summerlin. This linear park is within a natural wash and runs the length of The Canyons Village. In addition to children’s play areas, the park is lined with trails. The park’s linear design accommodates one of Summerlin's most popular trail areas and is used by runners, strollers and rollerbladers alike.
