About Stephen Yerrakadu

Stephen Yerrakadu is a senior design and development executive with more than 30 years of experience leading high‑profile architecture and real estate initiatives across luxury residential and hospitality. An award‑winning Architectural Designer, Florida Certified General Contractor, and Nevada Real Estate Broker‑Salesperson, he is a trusted advisor to CEOs and executive leadership teams and has been a quoted source in regional real estate development publications.

Stephen’s development leadership includes serving as Senior Vice President of Real Estate Development for a Florida‑based firm, overseeing more than $700 million in luxury hotel‑condominium projects. His earlier roles include Director of Design for AV Homes and Senior Architectural Designer for Toll Brothers. Most recently, Stephen served as Executive Director of Design for Blue Heron, where he led a 50+ person Custom Luxury Residential Design division and directed Business Development and Client Engagement. His leadership generated upwards of $100 million in new custom home projects and strengthened the firm’s position as a design‑led development innovator.

Born and raised in New York City, Stephen’s lifelong commitment to housing equity began with early volunteer work in homeless shelters. He has since served on multiple nonprofit boards and supported organizations focused on veterans, the elderly, the disabled, youth aging out of foster care, and homeless young adults. His community leadership includes roles with Rebuilding Together Southern Nevada, the East Tampa Business and Civic Association, and Covenant House’s Sleep Out initiative.
